Thanks for stopping by! I go by Riot (they/them). I'm a Virtual Assistant based and I want to help hold your brain cell. I have over 15 years graphic design experience, 10 years of digital marketing experience, 6 years customer support experience, and 5 years of community management experience.While I have worked on and off as a virtual assistant since 2012 I decided to take the plunge in being a virtual assistant specifically for artists and creators late 2023. I'm a neurodivergent and disabled queer based out of Toledo, Ohio. I love my cats, music, gaming, professional wrestling, and TTRPGs.I grew up on the internet during the days of Myspace, Gaia Online, and Xanga (emo was never just a phase for me). I love art. I used to code and design Myspace profiles. I grew up supporting artists and that has stuck with me ever since.WHY AM I AN ASSISTANT?
The reason why I decided to open my business is because I want to help independent artists navigate the ever-changing environment the internet currently is and help avoid burnout.When I was much younger I wanted more than anything in the world to run my own art booth in artist alley but I quickly learned I much prefer the management, marketing, and customer support side of running a small business. Now I dream of helping my clients run their booths.WORKING WITH MEIt's very important to note that I have Autism and ADHD. Working as an independent contractor allows me to do what I love in a manner that I am able to do. When communicating with me I do ask a lot of questions and I tend to over explain to ensure both you and I have clarity.The majority of my clients who seek me out are also neurodivergent. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking to me and, well, vice versa.I take a community-first approach when helping my clients achieve their small business goals. I will never push my clients to "go viral." Sustainability, trust, and empathy are just as important (if not more than important) in growth. If I have concerns, I will tell you what they are.I will cheer you on throughout your journey as a small business and will encourage you to make decisions that are the best for you and your mental health.Collaboration is my wheelhouse and I pride myself in being a team player. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
I will assist you in managing your social media platforms (ie - Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook) and can help create social media content. I will help engage with your followers. Due to the nature of the services provided all starting rates are based on a flat fee. If it is determined the amount needs scaled (due to amount of work needed) I will re-adjust my final quote. All prices are in USD. I must receive half of the final quoted price before I begin work.Half Month - $250

REFUND POLICY
Due to the nature of the services offered I do not offer refunds. I do, however, offer cancellations on longer contracts on a case by case basis.
